The KMS Spring Sports Awards will be Thursday; May 23, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the KMS Auditorium. At the conclusion of the awards, a reception will follow in the KMS cafeteria. All Spring Sport Athletes are asked to bring a snack food to the cafeteria before going to auditorium. Drinks, paper plates,cups and napkins will be provided.

KMS Dimensions recently won 2 awards at the “Music in the Parks” festival at Cedar Point. The group came home with 1st place in the “Junior High Show Choir” category and “Best Overall Choir.” Congratulations!

KMS are looking for two volunteers to help with the Discus event at the 2013 County Track Meet at Ridgemont High School on Monday; May 13th. The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm.

KMS students, through donations, have donated funds to pay for internet equipment and service for the BeLikeBrit Orphanage in Haiti. The attached slide show tells some of the story of this adventure.

KMS PTO will be holding a meeting Thursday; May 16th at 3:30 pm in the KMS Cafeteria. We will be reviewing 2012-2013 accomplishments and 2013-2014 opportunities for assistance. To better serve your traveling to away contests, maps can now be obtained. To do so, click on the Athletics Calendar tab and then click on the selected day/date of the athletic event. A link with the word “Map” (in blue) can then be clicked on and directions can be entered from your personal address to the assigned schools address listed within link.

The KMS will be conducting the OAA testing for students in grades 6, 7 and 8 in area’s of Reading, Mathematics and Science. Attached is the scheduled dates, times, and assigned grade levels to be administered.
